  2. Hi Nicola
I think your yarns look fabulous and am interested in purchasing yarn from your Debbie Bliss pure cotton range. When do you expect to replenish your stock – I am particularly keen on the lemon colour.
All best wishes with your new venture

  3. Hi Nicola
I am a friend of your mum and dad. I saw your dad last night and he told me about your website. As I am a textile artist I couldn’t wait to get back home and visit your website. I am SO impressed and will definitely be sending an order once I have explored all your wonderful yarns. My daughter’s house is called, ‘ The Old Woolshop’ and like me she is in to all kinds of yarn for her weavings. I shall be sending her a link to your site.
    Best wishes,
    Judy

  4. Hi, I have just downloaded a pattern from Vogue Knitting in the US and the recommended wool is Baby Alpaca Grande. It this something that you would stock or know where to get hold of in the UK?

    • Hi Sally,

I’m don’t think there stockists of Plymouth Yarn Company products in the UK. (There are none on their website, although they do have a German stockist.) You should be able to substitute reasonably easily with a chunky yarn which knits at 3sts/inch on 6.5mm needles. There are lots of chunky yarns coming out for the Autumn, so I’m sure you’ll have a good choice.

  5. Hi Nicola,
I am most of the way through a pattern for a crochet cardigan using Louisa Harding DK Kashmir in colour 18 teal. As i am new to crocheting i did not buy enough yarn to complete (!) but cannot find anywhere to purchase further balls. As i bought original balls from you i thought it may be worth asking if you can help. I understand the item is discontinued but there may be some out there somewhere! Internet searches have not helped much! Any ideas or is it it time to unravel and make something else?

    • Hi Helen,
Thanks for your message. I’m afraid I don’t have any but I have found one option on Ravelry:
      http://www.ravelry.com/people/CatusGabrielis/stash/kashmir-dk
It looks like the lady wanted to sell the yarn as a batch but it might be worth sending her an e-mail.
I’m afraid that the yarn has been discontinued for a couple of years now so it’s getting harder to find. I’ll take another look and let you know if I find anything interesting. I’ll also ask on Facebook for you.

      Best wishes,
      Nicola
